Brendan's Story

Serving Milton, One Community At A Time.

For more than two decades, Brendan Joseph has built a career as a chef — a profession built on discipline, care, and showing up for people every single day, no matter how busy the kitchen gets. That same work ethic is what he brings to everything else in his life: his family, his parish, his coaching, and now, his campaign for school trustee.

Brendan has called Milton home for 14 years. He and his wife are raising two children here, navigating the same classrooms, the same school hallways, and the same concerns about overcrowding and support that every Milton Catholic-school family knows firsthand. He isn't approaching this campaign as an outsider or a career politician — he's approaching it as a parent with a direct stake in getting this right.

Faith has always been central to Brendan's life. He is an active member of his parish community, and he believes Catholic education should be about more than academics — it should form character, community and conscience. That belief led him to become President of the Conquest Boys Club, where he has spent years mentoring young men and building leadership programs from the ground up. It's also why he has coached youth cricket for more than three years, teaching kids teamwork, discipline and confidence on the field.

Brendan is running for HCDSB Trustee because he believes Milton families deserve a trustee who understands the real, everyday pressures facing our Catholic schools — and who has spent years actually doing the hands-on work of building community, mentoring youth, and leading teams, not just talking about it.
